Description
After 75 years of ''abstinence'', the old craft tradition of brewing beer in Zwönitz was brought back to life. On May 17, 1997, a brewery was opened in the old "Schützenhaus". 10-20 hectoliters of beer are produced here every week, strictly according to the German Purity Law.

Draught. Muddy, brown colour. Small light brown head. Slightly smoky aroma, salami-like. The flavour is smoked, not overly, but distinctly. Nice, porky smokyness. The aftertaste, on the other hand, lacks smokyness.

Citric aroma. Very cloudy golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is OK with nice bitterness. A little citric but malty. But it has some sourness, possible infection?

Dark brown, clear. Roasty and chocoaltey with velvetty mouthfeel. Malt flavours dominates this mild beer.

Clear goden. Dry and lightly bready. Firm backbone, soft mouthfeel. Grassy bitter finish. A classy pilsener!
