Draft @ Pivo & Burger Fest Oct’16, Ljubljana. Dorée/orangé crémeux, blanc-cassé. Arôme de ces houblons du nouveaux monde, agrumes, citronné, malt pâle et pils avec un petit coté vert. Palais est malté, pâle, pils, houblonné avec une touche fine de fruité tropical et agrumes. Crisp mais avec un fini céréales et note de pin. Effervescence est un peu trop haut pour vraiment profiter à fond du caractère des houblons.

Draft @ Pivo & Burger Fest Oct’16, Ljubljana. Brune foncée, col beige. Arôme malté, grillé, fruité noir avec un malt restant bien sur le dominant. Palais est malté, grillé, pointe de chocolaté, sur effervescence qui mord le palais. Fruité noir rappelant les cerises et la figue. Le tout sur une sensation de picotement sur la langue venant du fruit? Houblonné amer est là avec un fini tirant légèrement sur le chocolaté et grillé.

Boutielle 33cl @ Tozd, Ljubljana. BB 17.04.2017. Orangée, col beige, blanc-cassé.3 Arôme au nez offrant un léger rétro de levure, fruité virant sur les agrumes. Palais est malté, mais avec une belle base houblonnée, fruité finemetn tropical - agrumes avec un fini un peu râpeux voire de pêche. Amertume herbacée, fini sec. Un peu trop orienté levure, fini sec accentué par les grains. J’attendais un peu plus de Simcoe, Mosaic.

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours thick, hazy orange body with two finger frothy white head. Really good retention and lacing. Refreshing smell, lots of hops, tropical, fruity, slightly herbal and peppery. Medium body with oily texture, regularly carbonated. Quite bitter taste for relatively low IBU of 42. Aroma is bursting with hops, lots of mango and passion fruit flavors, herbal, spicy. Some caramel in the background. Aftertaste brings in some mildly sour notes. Finish is long and bitter, mostly dry. Overall, nice one, but I found Iggy to be more to my liking.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting, my place. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are wheat malt, flowers, fruits, hops and yeast. Dry light grassy finish.

Auch bei diesem Bier ist wohl das Etikett das auffälligste. Es wird ein solides, aber auch langweilges Witbier geliefert. Als optisch ansprechendes Mitbringsel auf jeden Fall ein guter Gag, geschmacklich eher MIttelfeld.

0,33 l bottle at home, a pint at Sir Williams pub. Pours yellow golden clear with a finger of white quickly dissipating head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, mango, apricot, papaya. Nice rounded long lasting bitter finish. Bottle was much better than on tap, tap was more fresh, but aromas were much more intense from the bottle. Very pleasant and drinkable.
