Can 500 ml. Dark golden color, slightly hazy, slightly yellowish foam. Aroma: cucumbers, a little celery and pepper, a little tomato, spicy, a little garlic. Strong cucumber taste, a little pepper and garlic, pickle, give me tomatoes!

Appearance: foggy amber colour with a small white head leaving a long lasting ring. Aroma: sour milk, malt, light cherries with stone, raspberry jam. Taste: medium sour, light sweet, milk, aspirin, cherries. Quite the same all over. Palate: light to medium body, average carbonation. Overall: rather OK, not a cherry bomb.

500ml can from Bochka in Moscow. Pours clear orange with a tall off-white head. Aroma is lemons, yoghurt and hops. Taste is light sour, citrus, sour yoghurt. Light bitter finish.

Appearance: cloudy reddish orange with a moderate white airy head of low retention. Aroma: tomato juice, spicy and peppery, slightly smoked. Taste: light sweet, dominant smoked pickled tomatoes, some wheat bread, coriander and chili pepper. Moderately hot. Palate: light to medium body, medium carbonation. Overall: ok, not really to be distinguished among other East European tomato goses.

Look: golden colour, slightly fogged, moderate white frothy head of low retention. Aroma: cracker malts, spicy hop, toasted shades, something mineral Taste: similar to what is described above, light to medium sweet and bitter. Hoppy ending. Palate: light to medium body, medium carbonation. Overall: not a masterpiece, OK, just an acceptable lager.

Appearance: cloudy ochre yellow with a moderate white frothy head of mediocre retention. Aroma: sweet malt, esters, citrus fruit, mostly tangerine, further mango and peach, Taste: similar picture, hollow mid, light to medium grapefruit bitterness at ending. Palate: light plus body, medium carbonation. Overall: drinkable stuff, but not really a NEIPA.

Look: cloudy ochre yellow with a moderate white head of average retention. Aroma: sour fruit, yoghurt, oxidated malt, slack citrus. Taste: soursweet. Slack citrus fruit, oxidated malt, slightly lactic. Light bitterness. Palate: light to medium body, soft to medium carbonation. Overall: not a star.

Appearance: foggy deep gold with a moderate off-white head of good retention. Aroma: not intense, resin, citrus fruit, malt, walnut. Taste: light to medium bitter, medium plus bitter. Cracker malts, candied citrus, light lager yeast, grapefruit, resin, corn, a hint of alcohol, long hoppy ending. Palate: medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: solidly bitter and hoppy, OK. Could use some more drinkability.

Appearance: foggy reddish gold with a moderate fizzy head that vanishes in some seconds. Aroma: tomato and cucumber pickle, spices including basil, distant malt. Taste: spicy, slightly sour. Medium intensity. Similar to aroma. Palate: light plus body, lively carbonation. Overall: drinkable, ok.
