Pours a hazy yellow golden, topped with a rather small white head. Fresh grassy feel with some citruses which don’t push through the grassiness. SOme malty back, gentle. Taste starts sweet, moderately, continuing with hoppy bitterness, medium, finishing with grassy/herbal feel that’s left on the tongue for quite some time. Light and a bit stale body. OK.

Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Gathering Ulfborg 2016, Day 1. Cloudy amber with an off white head. Aroma of orange, citrus, light tropical fruit, some ripe fruit, caramel and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [19-08-2016]

Dark brown to black colored, medium to strong beige creamy head, decent lasting. Aroma is of chocolate and some roasted malt, bit roasty acidity, some burnt smokey notes. Taste is medium sweet malt, chocolate, some roasted malt, bit smokey phenolic and light roasty acidity, some burnt notes, moderate roasty bitterness, dry. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation, bit creamy. (bottle)

Tap, Medulin festival. Misty pale yellow-golden body with a small white head. Mild tropical fruit aroma with light peach, sweetish. Mild dry tropical fruit taste, ending in a sold herbal bitterness and a very light tart, fresh touch. This is a very pleasant beer all in all, seemingly much better on tap than bottled - like so many Slovenian beers that is. Hopsbrew is definitely a brewery to watch!

0,33l bottle at Bevog Festival shared by iznogud, big thanks. BB 01.03.2017. amber hazy color, small white head. smells of exotic fruits, spices, earthy, light pines. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of resin, light exotic fruits, mango, light berry note. finishes lightly bitter with notes of caramel, light berry and piney notes. quite nice one.

0,33l bottle bought at Pivarna Maribor, drunk at my hostel. BB 30.05.2017. copper hazy color, medium big off-white head. smells of exotic fruits, light berry notes, some black currant, lightly peppery, lightly doughy. overall nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly bready, burned malts, berry notes, light mango and grapefruit, hints of herbs, lightly leathery. finishes lightly bitter with herbal, light citric and burned malty notes. quite good one, not really a session ipa though (also not very sessionable), more like a amber ale or something like that. but quite enjoyable beer.

[ As Hopsbrew Hoppy Brown Ale ].Unclear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, flowers, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, flowers, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160819]

Cloudy yellow orange colored, medium white frothy head. Aroma at start is strong tropical fruit and some citrus, really potent and wonderful, unfortunately after some time it disappears and is similar to the taste which is strong astringency, some malt, not much wheat, and a bunch of non-wit/wheat phenolics (plastic at one point), medium harsh bitterness, dry finish. Medium- bodied, average carbonation. Shame, because the aroma after opening the bottle was wonderful. (bottle, Stella Beer To Go, Medulin)

Bottled at TNOD(U)RBSG2016. Cloudy nut brown, rich head. Floral tangerine aroma with some cookies. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Apricots and tangerine. Really bitter finish. Nice.
