Bottle. Pours chestnut brown with a red tint and an off-white to beige head. Aroma of hop, malt, chocolate, light citrus and moderate roasting. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Light to moderate body, slight oily watery texture, average carbonation. Increasing bitterness to finish. Decent beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol 24/2/2018. Reddish amber in colour, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head. Leafy hops, red berry and tangerine fruits, slightly toasty malts and a pleasantly bitter finish. Good.

Cask (gravity) @ 34th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2017, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Billericay Christmas Dickie ].Clear medium red amber colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, sugary. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171206] 6-3-6-3-12

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange. No lasting head. Aroma is tobacco and slight herbal. Bitter, dry and slight herbal. Mild bitter. Toasted malt. Light tobacco finish.

Cask at Fat Cat Colchester. Dark ruby beer lasting beige head. Its a black ipa with usual lack of body. Some juicy dark malt. Overly roasty. Nope still not my style.
