Visibaba Brew Co.
Client Brewer in Zagreb, City of Zagreb, Croatia 🇭🇷
From homebrews to festivals, the adventure pushed them to explore the Balkans in order to find the proper Brewery to welcome their Gipsy Brewing Trip. Searching from Croatia to Slovenia, it ended up hitchhiking a tractor on the country roads of Serbia where they discovered the Magic fountain of Kabinet Brewery.
The 2 unconventional belgian dudes then started to liquify their dreams and adapt their homebrew recipes to give birth to Visibaba Beer. Using all the best of local products combined with the finest ingredients from all over the world, they combined belgian brewing traditions with their eccentric innovative ways to make things Differently. The belgian Connection has already been joined now by legendary John Lemon, Janis Hoplin and Bob Barley ready to push the Craft beer Revolution to another level!

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky orange amber color with medium frothy off-white head, sparkling appearance and yeast residue. Aroma of citrus, melon, bread and yeast. Taste starts with mild caramel, follows tart citric, yeasty and funky with mild bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Obviously infected, but could be acceptable, if you like sauerkraut...

At the multi-national tasting held in Rome-Italy on 29/08/2015 (Jow, Mortlach, ippopotamo36 and Marco). Bottle. Pours a cloudy deep golden color, small milky white head. Nose: lemon zest, pepper, pils malts. A blast of lemon. Mouth: frizzy, lemonade, ginger, really fresh. Above average. Re tasted: On tap in Belgrade-Serbia. Pours extremely cloudy yellow-golden, adhesive white foam. Nose: very floral, Yasmine, spring flowers, some citric notes. Lovely. Mouth: frizzy, a bit peppery, citric and so thirst quenching. Lovely!

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy dark brown color with large soapy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark fruits, herbs and honey. Taste starts light sweet and sour grainy, follows by mild roasted malt, chocolate and dark fruity acidity, mouthfeel is warming, while finish is mild bitter and spicy. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. More fruity porter than roasted, therefore very refreshing...

Oct ’14. On tap at Dva Tona bar, Split. It poured hazy yellow body with smaller head. Light citrus hop aroma, mostly lemon, touch of yeasty wheat malt. Only a bit bitter flavor, lightly sweet washed out banana, milkshake, very chalky - yeasty. Didn’t quite get the typical Belgian spiciness that time. Medium to thinner in body with moderately long lightly bitter finish. Just OK, might be overrating it slightly.
