Bottle in the hotel room, Zagreb, 28/04/19. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is roast malts, toffee, brown sugar, caramel. Taste comprises light roast, brown bread, biscuit, dark fruit rinds, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Passable porter ... a touch overcarbed and lacking depth for the ABV.

From my dear parents: pours orange with a thick foamy head. Aroma is light citrus, hints of pine, some malts. Taste is moderately bitter with a moderate malt backbone. A bit muddled. Seems pretty out-dated given what this style is now.
