Tap at Craft Bier Bar Hannover. Hazy, dark brown colour with average, thick, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Spicy aroma, notes of gingerbread, speculoos, allspice, ginger, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, honey. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly nutty malty and minimally dry spicy, notes of gingerbread, speculoos, spice nut, honey, ginger, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, a touch of aniseed. Not overspiced, but this is really pushing the envelope. Very nice composition, perfect Xmas beer.

330ml bottle. Hazy to murky, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Wheaty, yeasty, fruity and spicy aroma, notes of banana, overripe banana, lots of clove, a touch of nutmeg, leafy hoppy overtones. Taste is slightly dry, wheaty and yeasty spicy, notes of clove, a touch of nutmeg and pepper, leafy hoppy overtones, no fruitiness at all; overcarbonated.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, dark golden colour with firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy hoppy, minimally funky and caramel malty aroma, hints of woodruff, a touch of mint and mustard seed. Taste is grassy, minimally herbal hoppy, weak, minimally sweet, caramel malty basis, hints of woodruff, a touch of mint, peppermint tea. OK.

0,33 l bottle from Craft Beer Kontor, Hannover. Pours out unclear pale golden with a nearly two finger off white long lasting foamy head. Smooth grainy smell, some citrus on a low level.Taste starts with a grainy shot, then increasing bitterness, hoppy, grassy background, hints of citrus. Definitive no thin football stadium beer.

On tap at Bierfest Oldenburg 2018. Unclear pale orange in the glass, nearly two finger off white foamy head. Very tropical smell with yeast. Taste starts with a mid bitterness, caramel and tropical fruity. Smooth, hints of smoke. Increasing dry grainy bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice.

On tap at Bierfest Oldenburg 2018. Unclear bright orange in the glass with a small foamy head. Low fruity smell. Taste is dry orange with a mid bitterness, wheat and yeast. Low banana and chewing gum. Complex. Long dry fruity aftertaste. Surprisingly good.
