12oz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour with a beige head that settles to a ring around the glass. Sweet malty aroma with notes of maple. Taste adds notes of cinnamon and light coffee, more maple , with an undercurrent of velvety malts. Smooth as silk.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy yellow pour, creamy white head, rings of lacing. Fruity aroma, citrusy at first, tropical notes deep in after. Taste is fruity, minor citrus zest, melon, papaya. A little tingle remains on the palate

Nagy, tartós, barna hab, fekete szín. Csokis, kakaós, kávés, aszalt gyümölcsös, vaníliás, leheletnyit kókuszos illat. Csokis, kakaós, kávés, kissé poros, vaníliás, aszalt gyümölcsös ízek, némi hordóval, kókusszal és pekán dióval. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Isteni, jól kiegyensúlyozott, minden ízesítést kiérezni, de egyik sem tolakodik.

Tap at The Grand Delancey. Pours black, oily and thick with a tan head. Nose and taste are loads of coconut almond, toasty, nutty. Then some chocolate, booze and nougat shows as well, quite sweet overall, almost cloying. Rich, decadent and in in-your-face.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brown with a slight creamy dark tan head. Aroma of maple and toasted malt. Med plus body. Not dry but not sticky. Not very bitter. Flavor is cinnamon, maple and toasted malt. Overall kind of french toast.

Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, toffee, chocolate syrup and mild nutty tones to it. Flavour is chocolaty, nutty, some syrup, toffee, mild alcohol as well as some coconut tones.

Fully hazed yellowish, white head, moderate, sheeting / spotty lace. Pineapple, mango, stone fruit, grapefruit. Flavor is balanced, leaning sweet. Smooth and creamy. Soft carbonation. Very drinkable.

Can. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Caramel fudge, Bourbon, coconut. Taste: Sweet, caramel fudge, roasted coconut, Bourbon, vanilla, chocolate notes. Some rye. Boozy hints. Full body, low carbonation. Over medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Sticky mouthfeel. A bit too sweet for me. Nice slow sipper.
