On tap at Pivnica Pivac/Rooster pub, Makarska, Croatia, it was this weeks guest beer. Had this Thursday 4th September 2025 after a short walk from our campsite on the edge of town. Pours light gold there is a very light haze and a small/mid sized white head. Nice mouthfeel, a little buzzy on the tongue, a touch of sweetshop/confectionery thing going on, there was a bit of butteryness which detracted a little from what might of been a decent easy drinking APA. Just been told the correct name of this as I paid, so it's a fruited pale ale with mango and coconut, not sure I can pick those up, yeah this isn't my thing.

0.5 l can from Ambasada, Zagreb, shared with Marko. Cloudy orange to ochre, small frothy diminishing white head, lacing. Aroma is lightly hoppy, fruity, stone fruit and malts. A vague hint of butter and spice. Flavour is fruity, ripe fruit, stone fruit, apricot, plum and white grapes. Very soft and smooth, soft carbonation, light to medium body. Minimal bitterness, quite sweet, generally within balance. Easy to drink, although not entirely pleasant. Finishes semi-dry and abrupt.

Can, thx Hrabren for sharing! Rated while Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer/Crown Of Thorns was playing, of course. Murky peachy orange-golden body, off-whtie head. The aroma is... err... wha... honey and dried apricots... Is this really supposed to be like this? The taste is sadly along the same lines... honey and dried fruit, sweetish, candyish, maltier than expected, while the hop expression is like someone forgot to hop it once, let alone dry hop it or double dry hop it. Awful for Maskeron standards, awful for Nova Runda standards, and yet better than thousands on thousands of beers I've had, imagine that. Might retry on tap just in case.

Canned 500ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Hazy orange/golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, citrusy and light piney nose. Sweet malty, biscuity, piney and light citrusy with herbal notes. Some light oranges in the finish.

On tap at Goblet Zagreb. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, citrusy nose. Citrusy, bit candy, light herbal and spicy with bitterish sweetish finish. Slightly juicy and discreet touch of alcohol.

0,5 l can. Pours almost black with minimal tan head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, licorice, roasted malts. Flavor is sweet chocolate and roasted malt. Texture is oily. Body medium. Sweet finish. Nice one.

0.5l can, thx H! Hazy full yellow body, off-white head. Fresh creamy aroma, floral, light lime, coconut. Lean, dry taste, light, spicy, herbal, lime, lightly oaty, vaguely tart, almost no bitterness. Good one, not great, but quite good.

0.5 l can shared with Marko and Ogi. Hazy orange, small off-white head. Aroma is moderately hoppy, wild herbs, resin, tangerine, hints of tropical fruit. Juicy, smooth, sweet, thin. Flavour is oat and light tropical fruit. Finishes sweet, bland and abrupt. Minimal bitterness.

Clean version:
Tap at Goblet. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Dank, tropical soft aroma, peachy notes, candy, brown sugar. Juicy taste, heaps of dank, bit oaty, tropical, smoooooth, lightly citric by the finish, lightly bitter finish.. Lovely!

Unclean versions
So... Had it on tap at Valhalla, it was intensely sour and unfinishable. Now having it on tap at X and it's... still going. Obvious funkiness, big, over tropical and stone fruit notes. Lovely smooth taste, stone fruit, bit citric, low cabbage, light tropical touches. You can see it's very tasty, but it's apparently also extremely easy to spoil... And both samples I had showed infection. Unlucky? Dunno, might give it one more shot tomorrow at Goblet or from a can... But only as Ogi's and Hrabren's ratings are so high and it's obvious that it's good despite the infection... 8/6/6.5/9/6
