(Can - nitro) Pours (after several vigorous shakes and upending into glass!) hazy golden amber with big dense creamy white head. Awesome aroma - intense mango, coconut, cream, pineapple (reminded me of an ice cream) with some hops. So smooth through the nitro head. Creamy with some pleasant bright carbonation. Taste starts with mango milkshake with pineapple and coconut. Then some nice caramel sweetness rolls in, followed by some perfectly balanced hop bitterness. Dangerously drinkable. Really different. Excellent.

Can. Amber. A little unclear with an off-white head that rapidly fades to less than a coat. Aroma of grapefruit, breadcrust, pine needles. 7+ lowish carbonation - I would have liked just a bit higher. Moderately sweet with sweet breadcrust, as much pine as citrus and a little lower bitterness than you'd have expected with these flavours 5-10 years ago. Solid.

Bottle (no. 6 / 50) - enormous thanks to Fil for bringing this from Australia to share with me and the Raven crew! Stupidly, didn't note the color, but I seem to remember a misty yellow-orange and some white head. Sweetish aroma, mixing chamomile, maybe lavender, some vague fruity-estery touches. Lean, all too lean taste, chamomile and peppery phenolics, with vague sweetness helping things along faced with the bitterish and exceedingly dry taste. Good stuff overall, but I can see why some weren't thrilled. Really love to have gotten to try it!

Canned.. Huge thanks to Fil for bringing this from Australia and sharing with me and the Raven crew! Murky dark orange-red body, off white head. Lactic acid and tart grapes in the aroma, hmmm, lightly perfumey but okay. Lean, quite lean taste, white grapes fighting with lactic acid and there's also trace guava in the finish along with the saltiness. Everything's a bit on the subtle side about it, but it's far from a bad beer, a pretty good Gose in any case!

Canned, nitro. Huge thanks to Fil for bringing this from Australia and sharing with me and the Raven crew! There's a whole procedure because of the nitro, hah, but it was worth it. Murky yellow-orange body, some off white head. Intensive, and I mean INTENSIVE as F**K aroma, huge, beautiful mango juice, some vague coconut maybe too, but I could smell that for ages. Smooth, very smooth mango, coconut, vanilla taste, sunscreen-like in a good way, bringing me back to my childhood and island beaches in the Adriatic. The hoppiness seemed to be there, fruitiness showing up that wasn't mango or coconut really, blended well with the others, only a faint, faint grainy touch from the malty background. This is, by a large margin, the best Milkshake IPA I've ever had. Nick has created a masterpiece here!

On tap at Harts Pub. Pours a cloudy earthy yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has grain and earthy straw with a hint of wet grass. Flavor has grains and light straw with a bit of wet grass growing in the finish.
