Many thanks to WillemsUrenkel for this bottle! Lots of smoke in the nose. The beer starts grainy with not as much smoke as the nose predicts. Grainy with subtle intense smoke. Round and intense, easy to drink with a refreshing aftertaste. Interesting soft smoked brew.

Many thanks to WillemsUrenkel for this bottle! Smooth malty grainy beginning. Easy to drink with a nice dense fresh roasted bitterness with hints of moderate grain. Chocolate and roast with fresh floral hops and caramelly malt. Nice and really refreshing for this ABV. Nice.

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty, chocolately dark malty and earthy, fruity hoppy aroma, hints of chocolate cookies, pumpernickel, plum, dark berries, cherry, spicy, marmite-like overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately dark malty, slightly bitter roasty and fruity hoppy, notes of chocolate, hints of pumpernickel, plum, cherry, dark berries, spicy, tart-ish and minimally metallic overtones.

0,33 l bottle from the brewery. Pours out oily pitch black. Beige frothy two finger head. Strong smokey smell with some caramell in the background. Taste is a mix of smoked wood and licorice. Hidden alcohol, maybe due to the smoke. But warming. No carbonation. Heavy stuff.

0,33 l bottle from the brewery. Pours out in a murky brown with a steady one finger foamy pale beige head. Smells hopy with ripe apples and banana. Taste starts more fresh green hopy with a toasted malty background. Nuts. Hopy bitterness also at the long aftertaste. Strong direction to a Pale Ale.

0,33 l bottle from the brewery. Pours out in a murky flat golden juicy style. Nearly two finger white head. Grape, mango, wheat and yeast on the nose. Taste starts with a mid bitterness, followed by a yeasty sequence, grape and wheat. Dry palate. Bitter aftertaste. Strong stuff.

Taste starts smooth but intensive fruity, some hints of peppermint, pale malty, wheat. Present hopy with some pepermint and citrus even in the aftertaste. Fruity sweetness. Really nice fresh stuff!
