330ml bottle, [unlabeled, handwritten "IPA 6%"; presumably "WestkΓΌste II IPA">. [Thank you very much, Dietmar, for providing!] Slightly cloudy, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with average to huge, thick, fluffy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney, slightly fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of red berry jelly, condensed mango & passion fruit. Taste is dry, minimally tart, piney bitter hoppy, slightly sweet caramel malty basis with a nuttily touch, disguised hints of mango and passion fruit, some elderberry, minimally soapy overtones; greasy, oily, texture. Nicely balanced.

330ml bottle [another perfectly executed "customer fulfillment" by Dietmar, thank you very much!]. Slightly hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautiously citrusy hoppy aroma with a touch of lemon and lime, likewise cautious pale malty background. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty with inconspicuous grainy touch, cautious hints of orange, "Vollwert"-orange biscuit, slightly citrusy hoppy overtones. Very nice and gentle composition, sadly a bit weak, insubstantial, remaining in a state of intimation.

Bottle. An unclear, golden colored beer with an off-white head. The aroma is quite malty, pale malts that is, with grass and a generic fruityness. Itβs medium bodied and with a pleasant carbonation level. Dry. Citrus peel, pale malts and bitterness in the flavor. Some wort like sweetish notes, still itβs mostly on the dry side. Lasting bitter and fruity finish. Quite decent this one, but nothing more. 150227

0,33 l bottle bought direct at the brewery. Minimalistic label art desgin. Golden and light unclear in the glass, mid white head. Sour mash and low hop on the nose. Malty start with honey and caramell. Citrus and smooth bready middle part. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Not that expected northern german Pilsener. Easy to drink but can not really convince.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black. Nice head. Starts mild, soft-malty, modest roasty, not too intense. Some earthy hints. Finish well balanced, still soft-malty. Nice!

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass very zippy, nice head. Fine hoppy aroma. Starts mild, more and more hoppy-grasy, fine fruity, interesting bitter background. Fruity notes of lemon and grapefruit. Well balanced finish, quite drinkable. Really nice!

0,33 l bottle bought at the brewery. Murky dark golden in the glass, big head. Fresh citrus hop with belgian malty influence on the nose. Starts sweet floral hopy, followed by a heavier sweet darkmalt sequence. Low bittter aftertaste, all with a fresh hop background. Not bad.

Bottle at home, present from my sister and parents. Pours hazy dark orange with thin white head. Aroma of bananas, honey, raisins, and Belgian yeast. Tastes a bit like ordinary home brewed ale. Some sweetness, but well matched by citrus fruitiness. Slightly bitter finish.

0,33 l bottle bought at the brewery. Simple but great looking label art design. Black as expected in the glass. Big light tanned head. Light roasted malt on the nose. Starts with toffee, low licorice, and smooth roasted malt. Longlasting taste, nuts, hints of citrus sweetness in the background. No dry german Schwarzbrot, more a quaffable easydrinker. But a good one.
