Dwindling off-white head over (cold)hazed pale copperish beer. Tarr, phenols², and acids, mainly lactic. Almost chemical. Again tarry, phenolic, smoked, and seriously acidic. Citric acid, lactic. Not very fruity (prunes???). Serious acidthinning and -burn. Sharp MF, good carbonation. The peat is too chemical, compared to a Bamberger Rauch. Txs to Stef!

Ich habe einige Biere von anderen Brauereien im Online-Shop von Rebrew bestellt. Da musste ich mir schon aus schlechten Gewissens heraus auch ein paar Hausbiere 🏠 bestellen. Neben vielen aromatisierten Stouts gibt es auch dieses klassische Irish Stout. Dieses ist wirklich gut gelungen, wenn auch nichts besonderes. Es hat tolle Bitterschokolade-Aromen mit feinen Kakao-Noten und einem Hauch Vanille. Kann man durchaus empfehlen.

Can. Hazy yellow golden with some chunks. Sweet grains, peach, apricot, light grassy. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Decent.

750ml shared with Ryan, Phill, Dima, and Katya in the Ghent Old Town. Appearance: hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: smocked plums, a bit of acidity. Taste: along the same lines, quite acidic. Overall: uzvar-like stuff.
