Bottle 750ml. @ [ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015 (TEODRBSG15) ] - fonefan & Brugmansia House, Denmark. [ As Unorthodox Siebenundsiebzig Raumjägers ].Unclear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, funky, dark malt, vegetables, moderate hopppy. grass, tart notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, funky, dark malt, caramel, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150829]

Bottle thanks to Summer Secret Santa! Bottle opens with a huge forceful pop; this think must have been close to exploding. Minor gushing thereafter, but it was very difficult to pour; huge gigantic beige head, full of big bubbles. Whoa. After a little forced aeration I was able to get a pour, which looks murky chestnut, nice residual lacing once all that head dissipates. Aroma is NOT sour; no infection here, just overactive bottle conditioning. What the aroma IS is roasty, with a citrus and pine background. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, a really good blend of roastiness and coffee grounds with pine resin and grapefruit. Medium body, mega carbonation which is off-putting, but otherwise this is a solid effort.

Fonefan 110415. Amber/Deep golden colour with an off-wjite head. Flavour is roasted malt, funk, pine, grapefruit, yeast, citrus, grass. OK/Nice beer.

Tap at Salon Piva. Hazy brown color with huge beige head. Aroma of, malt, spices, yeast. Spicy yeasty taste with moderate caramel maltiness. Good.

Bottle shared. Hazy very dark brown with huge creamy beige head. Light coffee, pine needles, dusty cellar, some dark chocolate, lime and orange. Light sweet and under medium bitter. Medium bodied with quite some carbonation. The mustiness is a bit weird but otherwise not a bad beer.

Bottle at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015, Ulfborg. Pours hazy brown with a large thick tan head. Aroma of fruits, herbal notes, malt and overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and heavy bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle 1l (PET). A bit cloudy, amber colored. AROMA- toasted malts, bread crusts, apples, bubble gum, chocolate. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, bitter, toasted malts, bread, apples, dark bitter chocolate. Medium bodied, well balanced.
