Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015, day 2. Hazy dark red to red-brown color, medium sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, medium to full bitter, some herbs or spices, brown malts, leaves. If it is intended as a black IPA it has gone horribly wrong. Otherwise it’s drinkable, but not very pleasant. Would definitely struggle with a complete bottle on my own.

Tap even before it went official. Quite decent lager bier, showcasing the genuine German ingredient list. Hazy brown colour, stable head. Nicely drinkable, smooth. Quite good.

Bottle 750ml. [ As Unorthodox Funky Nálada ].[ Courtesy of my Local Swap 2015-1 MisoW ]. Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, leather, wood - cedar notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, nutty, grass, fruity hops, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150411]

0,4l on tap at 100 piv Bratislava. dark amber hazy color, small to medium big off-white head. smells light malty sweet, grain, bread, spices, light roast notes. medium body, quite little carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of herbs, grass, light sweetness, some fruits, plums, citric notes, light pines. finishes with pines, citric notes, dry and with some bitterness. quite nice one, has a bit of a hop bite to it, very nice herbal & pine notes. overall interesting combination.

750ml bottle at Vienna RB Meeting shared by me, bought at 100 Piv Bratislava. BB written with pencil and now unreadable, but bought only 5 days ago, so rather fresh. brown color, quite big tan head. smells grass, marijuhana, some black currant notes, light cocao, light smoky. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of black currant, herbs, light coffee, bitter chocolate, a bit soapy, light ash. finishes rather bitter herbal and with some black currant notes. quite nice one, rather herbal bitter and lighter than I m used to with my Black IPAs. overall quite nice.

Dark brown body, with a massive, stable, frothy, rocky, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of hemp, citrus, orange, roast, chocolate.
Tastes of citrus, orange, coffee, chocolate, some hemp, some resin.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty, bitter, zesty, fruity, also sweet, a bit resinous.

Nice one. Typical BIPA, with quite a strong hemp note and a well balance between roasty malts and fruity hops. I’ve had better beers of this style, but drinks drinks nice.
