Bottle pour at AFG, pours a clear blonde with a medium, very fizzy white head. Aroma has quite a champagne-like effervescence, with musty dry apple skins beneath. Flavour is indeed like a champagne, with tons of bubblies, crisp apple skins, a little hay, and a bone dry, extremely carbonated finish. Really nicely made.

Runder, säuerlich fruchtiger Beginn. Kaum trocken, steigende Aromatik, süffig, fein würzig. Vollmundig, rund, langer Nachhall. Gut. 11/10/11/11//11

Shared a litre jug at the brewery/restaurant. Poured pale gold with a tiny bubbly head. Aroma of apple, not too sweet, with a slight stewed apple edge. Moderate sweetness, light sour. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Finish is dry, with light sweetness, and sour becoming more dominant - nicest cider I’ve had here.
