35 cl bottle from a market in SP, 9R$. Nice design. Dark brown color, red in see-thru, thick creamy brownish head, long lasting, looks very cool. Toasted nose. Aroma is nutty chocolate cream, caffelatte, chocolate cake. Taste is moderately bitter, some metallic bitterness tho. Finish is sticky, creamy texture medium body. A brown ale with chocolate, mmm, good.

Bottled at Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Clear deeo golden, small head. Fruity, grassy dusty nose. Mid sweet with medium body and clean crystal malt profile. Interesting toasty, dusty flavours. Mid bitter finish. Well made, elegant modern style lager.

Bottled at Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Hazy pale golden, minimal head. Perfumy nose with lemongrass and citrus. Dryish with light body and clean, crisp mouthfeel. Lemongrass, spruce needles and salt. Low bitterness. Refreshing.

Bottled at Bishops Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Very dark brown, small beige head. Chocolate and licorice up front. Mid sweet with medium-full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Mild but concentrated flavours of chocolate, tobacco and licorice. Mid bitter finish. Relaxed and edgeless. Really good!

60 cl bottle at Cão Vejo in Sao Paulo. Amber color, short offwhite head. Quite ordinary amber lager, mild malts slightly caramellish and decent finish. ok.

35,5cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks. Pours deep amber to copper with an off-white head. Quite malty aroma with caramel and quite dominating hoppy noted with light citrus and hintd of herbs. Medium sweet, fairly malty and fruity with a decent hop profile and bitterness. A bit too much on the sweet side for my taste, but decent stuff.

12oz twist cap bottle pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a tan head. The aroma offers up sweetness with brown sugar, dates, coconut and then a touch of chocolate. The taste starts with brown sugar, earthy chocolate, a big coconut note, marshmallow and a sliver of molasses. It gets into a thin layer of minerals into the finish where echoes of date like dark fruity esters are just noticeable. This is nice stuff where the sweet aroma didn’t convey in the flavor as I found a nice balance.

12oz twist off cap bottle pours with a clear amber body that has cherry red hues and supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up malt sweetened and somewhat molasses sweetened citrus juice, citrus gummy bears and then a sliver of sweet dark fruity esters. The taste starts with sweet malts nuanced by an orange flavored gummy bear sort of molasses note. It picks up flashes of bitter citrus and bitter spicy woodiness from time to time and ending with the label stated yet malt sweetened orange peel notes. Pretty nice but I’m guessing the age of this bottle has taken the tasty edge off of it (although the label states 07 / 2014). Oh well. It’s drinkin’ nice enough.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear, deep dark brown with a reddish hue and a smallish, off-white head. Spicy aroma atop the sweet roast. Rich, sweet body, almost candy-like. Subtle roast, but also dark, dried fruit and again the interesting, spicy woodiness. Not bad. 260514

Sehr dunkler Antrunk mit weihnachtlichen Gewürzen. Etwas Vanille, dann alkoholisch. Schokolade, trocken würzig. Die Kräuternote wirkt etwas unpassend. Insgesamt Ok. 11/11/9/9/11/10
