On tap at Delirium, Gothenburg. Goldenbrown, hazy ale with a nice off-white head. Berries, bitterness, sweetness and sourness in the aroma. Sweet flavor with berries, hops and spice, and some sour hints. Decent body and a finish with alcohol and bitterness. Nice beer, but a bit special. (060823)

Bottle at Kookfest 06. Black, thin beige head. Impy stout aroma, ok sour stout in mouth. Oily, charcoal, goodish malts in mouth. Interesting.

(On tap) Unclear amber golden with a small, off-white head. Lightly malty and fruity nose. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet with fruity, bonbonish notes. Some light caramel yet markedly dry without being overly bitter. Pleasant session beer. 240806 (Bottle 50 cl) As "Ahle Ale Jubileums Bitter ". Pours a clear, amber golden with a handsome, off-white head leaving some laces. Fresh and fruity nose. Rather light-bodied with some fruity notes - almost Hubba-Bubbaish - and a dry finish. (Bottle 75 cl) Clear, reddish mahogany with a handsome, beige head. Lightly sweet, roasted malt aroma. Medium body with plenty of sweet, roasted malt with a discreet, metallic edge. But overall quite pleasant. Perhaps it could do with a bit more hoppiness for balance. 260806

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours very dark brown and almost opaque with a small, of-white head. Lightly sweet aroma of roasted malt and dried fruits. Medium body with lightly tart, roasted malt and some light, vinous accents. Perhaps a whiff of wood. Discreet bitterness in the finish. Pleasant but not overly imponerande for an Impy. 260806

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, minor white head. Aroma of caramel malts and fruity hops, with hops being the stronger part. Flavour is fruits and hops, pleasantly salty and smooth. Also some herbal and mild spices in flavour.

Bottled. Very dark brown colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, metallic and some diacetyl. In the flavour onecan watery, but one can find some hops, mild roastiness and dark fruits. Aftertaste is mainly dark fruits and bitterish hops.

Bottled 50cl@RBESG’06 (BB 08/2006). Light amber color, small white head. A bit yeasty and barnyardish nose. Hoppy, crisp, light in palate but nice bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottled@RBESG’06. Muddy brown, almost opaque, small tan head. Light roasted nose, a bit sweet. Medium to full bodied. Sweet caramelly, chocolaty flavor.

Bottled@RBESG’06. Opaque black, small tan head. Cold coffee aroma, some notes of oxidation (!). Wineous mouthfeel, alcoholic, dark molasses, bitterish. Slightly unbalanced, maybe a beer to age.
