JAN-2020. Murky brown, beige head. Might have some chocolate, but way more chilies - not unpleasant, but no porter at all! The taste is a total disaster - green and chili pepper dilluted in a bland brown ale. 1,8/5.
DEC-2019. Hazy mahogany, beige head. Sweet coffee flavoured candies and pepper - both green and chili hot. The taste is vague dark ish cereal, neither malty sweet nor very roasty, with quite a but if vegetal spice and really hot chili finish. A bit too short on malts richness and way too heavy on spice. 3,1/5.

FEB-2020. Batch #2. Hazy golden, creamy white head. Smells of fresh clean malts, light fruit and biscuit. Clean malty bready taste, cereal, fresh. Chewy yet easy drinking. Next to no bitterness, yet balanced and moreish. Really good. 3,6/5.
DEC-2019. Batch #1. Hazy golden, white head. Smells of very little în terms of malts and hops, slightly cheesy. Dry taste - again, no malts of hops, slightly tasty with a funky seedy bitterness. Soft carbonation. Infected, I suppose. 2,4/5.

Tap at the Smokehouse Chisinau. Bland smell. Golden. Mix between perfectly hoppy and soap in taste and finish.

Cloudy golden, pillowy white head. Smells really sweet - like a green tea with lots of honey and a small slice of lemon. The ginger is big too. The taste has that sweetness too, it more lemon here - both peel and sour flesh - that helps somewhat (sorta, like a good lemonade or a proper Radler). Spicy earthy ginger in the finish. A bit over flavoured, technically not bad.

Murky orange, small soapy head. Bland sugared / glazed fruit aroma, some green hops. Some. Fruity sweetness drowning in wave of harsh poisonous green raw hop / walnut skin bitterness. Almost undrinkable.

It is a bit sour, but I don’t think they want that. However the sourness is actually pleasant. But the malt body is solid and the recipe seems great. Octo Beer Chisinau

This beer has a nice mild sourness to it, although I’m not sure that they want it there, but it does mesh well with the relatively full malt body for a blonde ale. Smokehouse Chisinau
