Appearance: clear chestnut brown with ruby red highlights, good ivory-coloured head. Aroma: dark malts, bread, acidic infection. Taste: light sweet and sour. Toast, bread, dried fruit. Oxidation. Low bitterness. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Overall: infected. Probably an enjoyable dark lager when fresh.

Appearance: clear pale yellow with a moderate white frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: grains, fruity hints, sour apples. Taste: acidic infection, grains. Fruity notes. Hardly any hop.
