32oz crowler pours with a clear mahogany colored body that supports a tiny off white head of bubbles. The aroma offers up a warming booze hit followed by brown sugar, raisins and ginger and then more booze. The taste is full and comes at you from several directions. I get roasted malts, chocolate, a flash of molasses and then brown sugar dusted raisins folded into booze. This is a solid winter time sipper.

Cloudy dark golden color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium to full body with a resiny and citrusy hop character and notes of malt and yeast in the background. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

16 oz. can purchased at Total Wine - Henderson, NV. Pours a very dark brown color with a small tan head and decent retention. No lacing. Peanut butter aroma dominates. The peanut butter flavor is not as strong as the nose. Just enough peanut butter flavor to balance out the sweet lactose stout and milk chocolate flavors. Clean and smooth and a little creamy. Low carbonation. A good dessert beer that's not over the top. The 6.6% ABV and 50 IBU are both well hidden. Needs a little more roast.

Can from Davis Food Co-op. Pours clear bright gold with a foamy white head. Clean aroma of pale malt with a bit of something else. Med body. Flavor is clean pale malt with something reminding me of a corn tortilla. That kind of bready. Body becomes a bit gluey. Not much bitter. Decent.
