Earthy, light smoke, liquorice, fruity hops in the aroma. Smooth, silky, rich. All sorts of fruity, floral and bitter hops coming through. Great.

Dark golden with bubbly white head, has lots of clumps of yeast flouting around even though I poured very carefully. Big taste of sweet malts, caramel, banana. Quite sticky and sugary with a flowery and fruity hop presence. Quite bitter finish too. Overall it’s a bit weird and unbalanced, it’s a nice Belgian ale, with some good hops, but it doesn’t work well together for me. The Belgian-style characteristics are way too overpowering.

330ml bottle [Slight gusher]. Cloudy, chestnut colour with huge, waxing, frothy to macro-pored, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, nuttily dark malty aroma without eccentric intensity. Taste is minimally tart and moderately sweet fruity at once, hints of red and dark berries, nuts, some malt sweetness and husk dryness, a touch of alcohol and brandy; lively carbonation, slightly sticky palate. Nice taste, discount in expression and "stylishness".

Sweet beer, with a body of caramelised malt, dark fruits and only some mild hops. It should have nelson sauvin hop, but I couldn’t detect it.
