Thx to TomHendriksen for this bottle. Deep black color and a nice tan head. Roasty nose, malty and sweet. Taste starts hoppy, malty and roasty, sweetish and a bitter-sweet hoppy finish. Well hidden 127 IBU

Fles 'Oisterwijks Vennenbier' gedeeld door Tomhendriksen en gedronken met familie. Helder goudgeel bier met witte schuimkraag die als een film blijft liggen. De eerste indruk van de geur heeft iets weg van de kattenbak. De smaak is echter fris, fruitig en licht bitter. De nasmaak is ook bitter.

2/9/2022. Bottle shared by SHIG, cheers. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is boozy, woody, whisky, light roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, rye bread, dried fruits. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, hint of sour. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nice evening sipper.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 05/07/22. Light black with a good sized lasting tan head. Nose is coffee grinds, spice, mellow roast, dried fruits, cocoa powder, toasted brown sugars. Taste comprises coffee bean, mellow barrel, fruit cake, cocoa sprinkle, dried fruit rinds, molasses, charr, light spice. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alchol. Solid kit.
