De keuze is ReuZe, de kwaliteit is ReuZachtig.

In 2002 werd Jos van Breda 50 jaar. Zijn boezemvriend Bernard Smits gaf hem een brouwcursus cadeau, Beide heren waren al fanatiek lid van de Vereniging Bierproeven in hun woonplaats Moergestel. In 2005 gingen ze commercieel onder de vlag van de Vereniging Pierewaaiers Reuzenbieren.

In december 2010 werd er een BV opgericht. Jos en Bernard vonden nog een partner Martin Op ‘t Hoog. Reuzenbieren B.V. was geboren, genoemd naar het lokale Reuzengilde..

Dark blond colour. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Smooth creamy malt texture. Nice dry, bitter hop with a refreshing light acidity.

Sampled from bottle @ Tilburg Bierfestival. Hazy opaque yellow / orange color, small white head. Smell malts, parfume and yeast, not much more. Taste malts, lightly hops, lightly bitter, some yeast. Medium body, low to medium carbo. Fresh, but a bit flat.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, hops, flowers, citrus and wheat malt.

Bottle 330ml @ fonefan
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt and vineous, fruity hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. It pours a dense, finger-thick off-white to light beige head over a lightly hazy golden body. Very fruity on the nose, peaches, pine cones, some sugary notes and pale malts too. Effervescent on the palate, medium to full body, quite dry, althogh there’s some sweetness in the flavor. Nice bitternes too. Lasting finish with a pleasant bitterness and fruityness. A quite pleasant one indeed. 120622

Bottle, 6.2%. Slightly hazy amber/deep golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hops, floral and white wine. Flavour is malt, hops, medium sweet, little floral, little white wine and a little bitter.

Sampled @ KBC Festival Den Bosch 2012. Brewed especially for 9th KBC Festival Den Bosch. Murky yellow color, no head. Smell fruits, hops. Taste malts, lightly hops, lightly fruits. Average carbonation, medium body.

33cl shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy amber color, medium sized off-white head that disappears quickly. Smell malts, lightly herbs, lightly spices. Taste malts, hops, hint of herbs. Tastes better then it smells. Low to medium carbo and body.

Dark, slightly hazy orange to ruby colour with a small, creamy white head. Smells yeasty, caramel, brown sugar, herbs, spices. Tastes sweet, herbs and spices, cinnamon.. Not what i like in a beer. Okay carbo, medium body.

Reddish brown colour, white head. Malty aroma, quite light, light fruit, light lactic acid. Rather sweet flavour, malt, caramel. Light hops. Bitter finish, burned caramel.
