My beer nr. 100, and it had to be a special one. One of only 8000 0,5 L bottles made especially for Skanderborg Rockfestival august 2005. Beechleafs are added because the Festival is called "Music and beeches". Its a wonderfull beer, very bitter and yeasty. Head not as good as aspected beacause of its short period in bottle. Powerfull long bitter finish.

2010-07-16, bottle, 8.2% ABV, 7-4-7-3-15=36
Hazy amber color; medium-sized head. Strangely the aroma shows not only hops, but also some sweat and cheese rind (tomme). Good body strength; sweetish caramel and toffee flavor; again there is a strong cheesy yeast preence; the hops are quite fruity too; the final is well balanced, but also a bit dusty. Enjoyable, but peculiar.

Hazy golden color. It has a very nice hoppy aroma, citrusy and grassy. Good body strength, round mouthfeel, with malt flavor and strong bitterness, quite aromatic; for this strong beer the (almost complete) lack of carbonation is a detriment. The final is good, balanced, but could bite more. Very good, but I’m sure Wintercoat can do better of it.
2005-05-20, draught, 8.4% ABV, 7-4-8-5-15=39
Hazy blond color. The aroma is not very strong, but very nice, malty hoppy and a bit fruity. The taste is full malty, with a good amount of hopping, fudge impression, good aromatic, ends almost like fudges.

Draught
Hazy blond color. Light aroma, but harmonious and nice. Good. Simple, round, sweet, with an original earthy taste, almost smokey. Smooth. Pleasant.

Handpumped from keg. Citric aroma with a hint of spices. Golden colour, big rocky head. Smokey flavour, other than that I cannot taste much. Unpleasant bitter finish.

With an aroma that is very good, it tastes so powerfull that you almost eat this beer. The palate is oily and full.
