Keg at the East Street Tap, Brighton. Gold pour with a white head. Lots of grapefruit in the nose with a little light spice and vanilla. Same doo-dah in the flavour. Refreshing.

A dark golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light candy sugar, light curacao, alcohol warmth, pleasant. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with loads of curacao and coriander, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle at United lounge, Terminal C, IAD.

Rare bottle. Warm. Smells good for a hoppy nose. Big head. Pale. Clear. Tastes like IPA mostly. Should be IPA styled, quite strong for an APA. Bitter. Brags that it’s 6%, no hiding this alky. If you like IPA, flip my numbers, its on style for an IPA.

12 ounce bottle. Opaque dark brown color. Small creamy beige head. Roasted malt flavor is a bit thin. Notes of oak and vanilla, I think? A bit of chocolate on the finish. No barrels were harmed in the making of this stout.

Draft pour at Town Hall in DC. Poured a lot darker than I expected for an IPL. Kind of a light ruby color with a medium sized white head. Some nice hoppy notes, sweet malts. Light easy to drink. Not what I’d expect from this style, but the beer itself was perfectly tasty.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Hazy golden-amber with a small head. Has a very stated wheat beer styling with lots of nose. Banana dominates both.
