Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, huge head. Starts intense malty and spicy, notes of dry honey, some herbs, light sweetish background. Finish dry, metallical, still dry honey notes. Interesting one!

1 l bottle purchased as usual at the brewery. Unclear copper in the glass with an huge more than three finger pale beige head. A mix of honey, hop and malt on the nose. Taste has honey sweetness, some malt, caramell and hop, fresh. Fruity elements in the second part. More than average carbonation. Nice springtime bocklike stuff.

Again thanks to Jacci and Nils for organizing this 1 l bottle from the brewery. Pours out murky brown, more than one finger pale beige head. Fresh hop on the nose, little bit grasssy and floral. Taste starts malty, floral hopy, some hay, some sweetness. Pleasant bitterness, not overdosed. Also malty backbone in the long lasting aftertaste. Way better than the Überhopft Part 3.

Again big thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass the same. Nice head. Wonderful hoppy aroma. Starts intense hoppy, fruity, interesting combination of different fruity notes. Some lemon, grape, apricot. Mild sourish hints. Much more balanced than the Version 3. So this one is also much more drinkable. I really like it!

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass quite turbid, nice head. Fruity aroma with a combination of a lot of different notes. Starts malty, fruity, hoppy. Quite a lot fruity notes of dried fruits, bitter background, also some earthy-woody hints. Not as well balanced as other beers from that brewery. Not too drinkable. They had better ones.

1 l bottle, thanks to Nils & Jacci. Flat murky orange in the glass, more than two finger head. Fruity hopy smell. Taste starts with a strong hopy bitterness. Less fruity. Malt present in the background but all overlasting hop bitterness. Maybe ab litte bit too much. But I think it should be an experimental thing. But I´m not a real friend of SHIPAs.

1 l bottle again directly from the brewery. Thanks to Nils for his help. Dark golden in the glass, little bit unclear, mighty head. Low sweet malty on the nose. Taste has malt, present fresh hop, more bitterness than expected. Little bit metallic. A hopy Märzen. Okay.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass the same. Nice brownish colour, nice head. Starts surprisingly mild-malty, notes of earth, roasted malt, some wood. Mild bitterness. Alcohol is well hidden. Finish with light sweetish hints. Well balanced finish, still not too alcoholic. Quite drinkable. Nice one!

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that big 1l-bottle. Looks really good .Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest sweetish. Light hints of caramel. Light woody notes. Well balanced finish, malty, bit more spicy. Quite drinkable, so the name of the beer is right. Good one!
