Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Comes as: "Montseny Ecolupulus". Pours a cloudy opaque golden with tiny impurities and a small white head. Fruity, yeasty nose - kinda like some Wheat Ale. Medium body, very yeasty, some fruity hops with a dry finish. Minerally. 071112

33cl bottle. Orangish colour with a beige head, good lasting, medium lacing. Aroma is floral, hoppy and fresh. Flavor is medium hoppy, with traces of different fruits, grapes, orange. The final has a light bitterness and slightly sweet. Carbonation and body are medium.

New Beer Distributors, NY 330ml ($4.50): At least the US bottles don’t come in the idiotic green glass, but I feel like the brown is not much better, because this might be infected. Anyway, it pours a dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma is funky chocolate and malts. Taste is slightly sour. Otherwise, it is like a light stout. Tastes like a Jolly Pumpkin stout, except that I think that this one was done by accident. And with the completion of this beer I still have never actually tried a CCM beer the way it is supposed to taste. Still, I gotta say that I don’t really mind the sourness.

Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose of light tropical fruit and watermelon bubblegum. Taste of light tropical fruit, apple skin and herbal/floral notes. Light grain. Short finish. Lighter body.

Bottle. Pours caramel brown with off white head. Nose/taste of toasted cereal grain, caramel malt, toffee, dry citrus and grassy hops. Taste is off - lots of toasted cereal and some caramel malt in deep background. Finishes saltwater taffy. Medium body.

Bottle. Pours with a hazed golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are of peaches, nectarine, stone fruit, musty cobwebs, mineral, earthy, lightly candied. Flavors are bitter, tannic, lightly sour (more mildly tart), grainy, a bit waxy. Very tannic with medium carbonation.

Bottled@Punavuoran Ahvan, Helsinki. Very deep brown head, close to black, small beigeish brown head. Aroma roasted malts, toffee, some chocolate and mild ashes. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, some wood, mild toffee and some slight bitterness in the finish.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazu orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light caramelish. Smooth malty, toasted malty and light grassy. Bitter, dry, light citric and grassy hoppy. Ends dry and bitter.

330 ml bottle then into an English pint. The bottle was black; not green like photo. From notes 4/7/2012. Very dark brown with a huge foamy beige/tan head which had spotty light lace. Weak retention. Sweet roasted nose with a touch of lactose. Taste has sweet malts with light chocolate. However, also an odd fruit / sourness. Does finish dry. I haven’t had much Spanish beer in recent years so… hard to get a good base-line for other brews from Spain. This dry stout was ok.
