Bottle (and tapped @Festival der Bierkulturen):Deep ruby-amber coloured, clear with a small and persistent loose white head, solid aromas of dried fruits, caramel, dark malt and old wine with a shy cellary touch; almost solid bitter-sweet flavour, pretty full bodied; lingering and warming vinous and tart-sourish finish with a sweetish caramelly counterpart. Fine, fine stuff…

Bottle, Danke GĂĽnther! Bright red, low head. Wooden, light chocolate, almond blackberries inthe aroma. Dry tar tart on the tongue, light sparkly, moderate sourness though. Roasted, berrylike and fruity, nutty, chocolate and coffee notes, a hint oak. Good balance between the rich and the tart side makes this deceptively drinkable. Gets a little byt dry and starchy towards the end.

bottle from pivnizub - thanks! Deep brown colour, almost black, no head to mention. Sour-fruity start, not unpleasant, not vinegar-like, with a malty flavour detectable, like a good hand-crafted Alt witha sour touch. Nice.
