Bottle at the Deanso’s monthly RB tasting, July 2013. Poured a cloudy medium amber with a thin white broken head. The aroma is big zesty apple. In fact it smells like crushed swizzels dissolved in R. Whites lemonade! The flavour is medium to strong sour, big apples and not a lot else. There isn’t room!

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a clear copper color with a creamy white head. Aroma was some sour apple notes, though light. Earthy hops, nice sweet toasty malts. Flavor was earthy notes, with some tart, light sour notes, not too bad.

Big thanks to Erzengel for that bottle. Looks really good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Starts strong-malty, but not too alkocolic. Some earthy notes together with some chocolate. More and more sourish and fruity like berries. Finish a bit drier, fruity aftertaste. Well balanced and the alcohol is really well hidden. Nice surprise!

Sample from tap @ In De Wildeman, thanks to Simon!. Brown color. Aroma is caramel-ish, with sourness retronasal. Flavor is sour and grain. Light bodied. Finishes bbitter & with grain. Might as well be an alt that suffered from bad infection. Plus Alt is not supposed to be sour imo.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear reddish amber colour, fluffy off-white head. Aroma is light tart, Brettanomyces funk, wood, green apples. Flavour is soft floral sweetness, wood, light fruity, Brett, light spicy, dry woody bitter and light tart finish. Light-bodied. A lot better than the other MoM Dark Gose imho.
