From a 355 ml bottle. Pours a clear gold with a thick white head. Faint yeast aroma with some hints of citrus. Soft mouthfeel. Would be a fabulous beer sitting on Copacabana Beach watching Brazilian beauties. But on a chilly, grey day watching an empty beach, this beer is not so inspiring.

Bottle at Taco Mac. Pours black with a medium, beige head. Strong malt notes of molasses, oats, and vanilla and some faint ester notes of bubblegum and dark fruits. The flavor mellow sweetness and no bitterness. Light to medium body. Silky, grainy, and fairly smooth in the finish. This is a good, easy to drink, malty, and very interesting beer.

I picked this up on a whim today. Pours a medium golden color with a fair amount of floaties and a thinnish white head that dissipates quickly. What an odd aroma of sweet sugar and bright fruit. The smell is really sweet with no hops to be found. The flavor is just like I expected based on the aroma. Sweet and fruity without much else going on. Medium body with a light to moderate level of carbonation and a sweet almost syrupy mouthfeel. There’s no bottle dating that I can find but I can only assume that this bottle is on the not so fresh side. I could drink it, but I wouldn’t seek it out again unless I was a whole lot closer to the source.

355 ml bottle. Clear, pale golden body with a foamy white head. Aroma is grainy with hints of grassy hops. Flavor is sweet grainy, and light, soft malty. Not much bitterness and not much flavor either, still refreshing and no off-flavors. Thin body and no aftertaste. Probably great a sunny day at a hot beach. Otherwise no point at all.

Flaske fra ICA: nesten ikke skum, men allikevel behagelig karbonert. Tynn, vandig munnfølelse og sparsomt med humlesmak. 30 kroner fullstendig bortkastet.

35,5cl bottle from Varnaveien Mineralvann. Pale yellow with a white head that disappears quickly. Hmmm, is it really beer? The bottle say it contains maltet barley, but it is hardly noticable. It tastes more like some sweet carbonated water, maybe with a hint of citrus and actually a hint of bitterness too. Goes down pretty easy, almost as water! Not very beer-like, but still drinkable.

Light yellow with a fine white head. Light grain and hoppy aroma. Mild easy drinkable light lager.

Flaske fra Høkeren: merkelig aroma (tobakk og svette armhuler?), kort skum. Frisk smak uten sødme men heller ingen humlesmak. Tynn kropp og vandig avslutning. Merkelige greier.
