Bottle. Light caramel malt aroma. Black opaque color with little head. Sweet sugar cane malt flavor - very pleasant. Medium body - not too heavy, not too light. Alcohol content low for a schwarzbier - should really be a dunkel. Still nice and enjoyable - really like the cane sugar flavor.

Bottled (labelled A Marca Bravara, 4.5%). Pale golden, no head. Corn aroma. Sweet and fizzy, heavy on adjuncts with notes of stale hops. Low bitterness. Almost Carlsberg-y in it’s cloying sweetness and unclean vegetable flavour.

Sampled draught at Tyreno, São Jose dos Campos, SP, Brazil.
Golden colour, creamy head. Lightly grassy and quite dry. Mild and soft, some aromatic hops in the finish, but no bitterness.

2004 bottle shared with bucknaked, 4/28/2005. Light yellow, pale-white gold, some white head, little retention. Smells of strongly skunked hops, vanilla-corn. Bland and papery, dew covered grass, lots of water, too much carbonation, bland. Maybe a touch of grassiness. Very light body.

One dimensional malt aroma. Black with very small and short lived tan head. Flavor of roasted malt and barley. Complexity increases as it warms, with licorice and soy sauce coming out. Pleasant herbal/vegetal characteristics. Reminds me of a bock. Very smooth and easy to drink. Heavily carbonated. A good surprise.

Bottle: Poured a bright yellow colored beer with almost no head. Aroma is quite weak with a faint smell of skunkiness. Taste is very light, almost watery with a touch of corn syrup and again that feeling of skunkiness. Won’t bother with this one again.

Sampled at the Southside Beer Expo. Much more than a schwarzbier. Not hoppy or roasty from the malts, but rather "quiet," with a succinct fruity character. My sample had lower carbonation than other beers, which enhanced its mild flavor profile.

Pitch black coloured body with a dense light brown head. Aroma of vegetables and some slight roasted quality. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong vegetable tastes and some nuttiness with a strong malt background. Aftertaste shows some of the malt with little else...very mild. Overall, a decent beer from Brazil, nice to try...but I probably wouldn't try this again. I had this beer from a bottle at a bar in the Market Square in Knxoville, Tennessee.

Bottled. Golden colour. Lively but brief head. Perfume and cereals up front. Mild, soft and bready. Not thin or fizzy, but fairly tasteless. I can't detect any hops.

Bottled. Pale golden with bried head. Vague cereal aroma. Loads of fizz and loads of water. Medium body. Behind the fizz there some softness, but certianly no hops.
