Sampled @ Danish Summer Gathering 2015 Fast klares dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit iner geingen weißen schaumkrone. gEruch sehr malzig, Karmamell, Obst, Minze. Geschmack stark nach Toffee, sehr malzig, Gewürze, Honig, leicht alkoholisch.

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015. Bottle. Clear orange to amber color, small off-white head. Smell and taste sweet, concentrated fruit, sugar, slightly alcohol, something weird I can’t quite put my finger on. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Søgaard John Chokolade Stout ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, tart malt - oat. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150620]

Aroma has tart notes, some chocolate and roasted malt. Also mild rubbery tones. Flavour has some cocoa, chocolate and roasty tones. Also coffee. There is a very slight feeling of contamination present.
