Test vom 10.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,4,5,5,5,5 - 5,35

(33cl bottle) Clear, pale golden with a dense foamy white medium head. Sweet & slightly dusty papery malty aroma with notes of citrus and perfumed light-grassy hops. Moderately sweet flavour, slim bodied and low on carbon. Soft malty taste, typical Gold-Lager character; sweetish finish with not much bitterness to speak of. Yuck.

(bottle, as St. Wendeler Brauburger Pils) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly sweet, malt-accented aroma with a touch of vegetables and grassy hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, soft carbonation. Initially short malty taste with herbal and grassy notes; dry-ish and moderately bitter flavour with grassy hops and a touch of metal. A cheap-tasting, mediocre, industrial brew.

(33cl bottle, traded with Saarlander) Clear, dark amber colour with a small foamy tanned head. Shy aroma: slightly sweet and dusty toasty malt with caramel. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Strong dark malty taste, toasted with caramel and light fruity notes (dried fruits); medium-dry, malty and minimal-bitter finish.

Can: Poured a golden to natural amber color with a foamy white head. Grassy hoppy aroma was overwelming. Sour grainy flavor throught.
