Description
As a Gypsy brewer, we do not have our own brewery. We use free capacities in regional breweries - this not only helps us, but also the breweries and secures their jobs. In addition, we have more time for our true passion: trying new things to maybe put them in the bottle. Where exactly your beer comes from can be found under the information about our beers. We use a mixture of domestic and international hops. Mostly we use Hallertau hops for bitterness and complement them with American ones in aroma and dry hopping. Our malt comes exclusively from regional companies.

Bottle thx to Benzai, small sample. Almost clear yellow color, short frothy head. Aroma of grainy malt, bit cardboard, slight citrussy hop. Prefer this style with traditional hop, new world doesnt fit. Slight bitter, citrussy. Meh.

Bottle shared with Caesar @ Caesars mancave, 11 am, you’re welcome Cees :P. Clear pale yellow color, small white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, more than I expected. Taste lightly malts, wheat, hops, softly bitter, a light hint of grapefruit. Average body and carbonation.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big but collapsing foamy white head. Fruity hoppy aroma with distinctive notes of grapefruit, citrus and gooseberries, mildly doughy pale malty background. Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry-ish pale malt character with hints of dough and white bread, backed by mainly citric hops. Loads of grapefruit and minor green fruity accents; dry and mildly hop bitter finish with a cautious malty backbone. Not bad for a Lager. 11.VI.16

330ml bottle. Murky brass colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma with notes of lemon, lemon zest, a touch of lime and liquorice, some herbal spiciness. Taste is citrusy hoppy, moderately sweet pale malty, notes of lemon drops, balm, a touch of lime and liquorice, a minimally peppery touch; grave, oily texture, soft palate, chewy mouthfeel. Unusual combination of weighty and (almost) watery palate, nice spiciness. Nothing outstanding, but recommended to experience a secluded area of the palate / texture spectrum.
