(Bottle 70 cl) Clear amber with a handsome, creamy and rather stable head. Malty nose - perhaps with a tiny hint of berries. Soft mouthfeel and a rather light body. Dominated by plain pilsener malt with a harsh bitterness in the finish which I believe derives from the added rowanberry extract. Also has some grape juice added. 211205

An amber beer with a huge light brown head. The aroma is yeasty with slight notes of nuts, and caramel. But the flavor is boring, plain malty and nutty, as well as slight notes of metal. An OK beer, but not really exiting.

An amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet acidic with notes of yeast and a good deal of straw, the flavor also contains a good deal of straw, but also light notes of caramel. I could not find any of the spices added.

Draught at Cockney Pub. This beer is made espacially for Cockney Pub because Ceres Red Erik only is sold as export!!!!! No head but nice red colour. Week aroma but OK flavour. Average finish. Oily palate and lively carbonation.

(Bottle 70 cl) Very cloudy amber colour with a nice, creamy head. Tall, bubbly head - lots of carbonation in here. Hoppy nose. Malty but has a rather light body. Distinctly marked and sharp - but also aromatic - bitterness, that lingers on your palate for a long, long time. More of an IPA I believe. 250805

(Bottle 70 cl) Golden and cloudy with a very small head. Distinct wheaty character, fresh, lightly tart nose and a rather unusual bitterness. Fine fruit esters - some citrus, some banana. In spite of it’s name this has more the taste of a German Hefe. And a Wit without coriander? A unusual hybrid. 300705

(On tap) Pale golden and presumeably clear with a small, creamy head. Rather dry body with an incredibly dry, crisp, aromatic bitterness (Cascade), which holds the whole way through. Perhaps a bit one-dimensional, but very clean and pure IPA. 210505

(Bottle 70 cl) Very dark and completely opaque with a small, off-white head. The sweetness is your first impression from the added Muscovado sugar, but it’s balanced perfectly by the bitterness of the burned malts. Very elegant and drinkable beer which only lacks a wee more personal touch to be truly excellent. 230405

(Bottle 70 cl) Very pretty mahogany coloured beer, clear and filtered with a lightly beige head. Rather dark, almost burned flavours like in a Porter. But the body is surprisingly light for a beer this strong. And then you get a tremendous hop kick in the finish. I feel there’s an imbalance between the thin body and the bitterness making this not very harmonious. 271104

(Bottle 70 cl) Neat orangey golden, slightly hazy with a sediment at the bottom. Rather small head. Some fruity notes from the ale yeast, a touch of bitter hops and then an odd, misplaced acidity. This beer seriously lacks balls (sorry Birthe). 251004
