This golden beer has a nice citrus aroma, and taste a bit of orangechokolate. It is fruoity but it has a week head.

Draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Hazy golden, small head. Pleasant grapefruity hop aroma. Sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. The pleasant hops covers the slight shortcomings in the malt department. Medium-high bitterness in a slightly resiny finish.

2009-10-09, draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen, 7-3-7-4-13=34
Deep blond color. The aroma is grassy, a bit sweaty, with light glue and apples; I feel like I just opened the cupboard of a homebrewer. Low carbonation, which is good, giving a smooth mouthfeel; it has a sweetish toffee flavor and strong, green, hopping, with a lot of hop oils. It’s pleasant for hop lovers (and I am one), but quite confused and unprofessional.

Hazy orange color. Very nice fruity aroma. Dry and hoppy mouthfeel, very hoppy; not very complex but very well made.

[Draft] A hazy orange beer with a nice off-white head. The aroma is lovely hoppy and slightly sweet. The flavor is lovely hoppy with notes of grass - a little like chewing on a hop flower. Nice. DO NOT try this on bottle - either it is clearly off, or if You are lucky it is just plain boring.

Draught. Weak, refreshing acidic citrusy aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Flavour is quite bitter at first, then citrusy and then OK bitter again. Hint of lemon tea.

[At Jyske Øldage 2004, Kolding] A hazy brown beer with a small disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and motor-oil. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and a dry finish, while the mouthfeel is rather flat. In style I’d characterize this as a Brown Ale. Unfortunately Skands turned out another uninteresting beer, I’m still hoping I’ll be positively surprised one day - I’m waiting.

Slightly hazy orange (end fully yeasty); orangey, dense and collapsing head. Citrus and some caramel in the nose, ending soapy-hoppy. Very watered down citrus taste, there are some reasonable hops on duty, and the only remarkable flavour is something, again, vaguely toilet-soapy. Watery, light bodied. Very British in MF, but most British ales would have more character to show for. The hops are OK - probably because of the absence of anything else.

Bottled. Hazy orange. Vague toffee aroma. Sweet and bland with rounded mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Lacks anything even remotely interesting.

Bottle. Slightly roasted flavour. OK, long bitterness. Hint of malt. Not spicy. More like stout that their stout, but finally a decent beer from Skands.

(700 ml bottle). Deep brown colour, but far from black. Probably the palest "stout" I’ve seen. But if you disregard the chosen style name, this is a drinkable and refreshing beer. Good head which leaves a nice lacing. Moderate malty aroma with a light roastiness, plenty of caramel but not really sweetish. Flavour is malts and caramel fairly well balanced with the hops, but the mouthfeel is a bit thin and watery. Reasonably hoppy aftertaste. OKish.
