0,33 flaske fra Systembolaget Hansa (Malmø), i lejligheden mai-18: lett uklar brunlig rav med fint skum som varer. Maltdrevet aroma og smak med mørke karameller, ristet brød og litt urter. Fin maltkropp og god, halvtørr bitterhet i finishen.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours pitch black with a light brown head. Roasty nose, some licorice, a little cabbage. Rich, malty body, a lightly smoky note. Heavy roast, heavy licorice - even bordering salty. Some tar. Rounds off nicely in the finish but cannot hide the alcohol. Decent alright. 190218

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Bubbly, tan-coloured head, clingy lacing, jet black body. Mid-sweet brown malty nose with hints of cinnamon. Liquorice, bread, brown malts and dark spices to the taste profile. Roasted malt-driven end.Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Tromsø 24.01.2018).

Flaska från SB. Tack Daniel. Julöl, lokala sortimentet-16. Kolsvart, opak, tjock vätska med lågt skum. Doft av choklad, fudge, kaffe, soja, aska, molass och jord. Riktigt stor kropp, mjuk och rund, bra balans och fina men kanske lite anonyma smaker som doften. Inledningsvis lite sötare smaker av choklad, sötlakrits och fudge. Eftersmak med jord, aska och koltablett som är trevligare än den låter. Charlies har ganska ofta gjort mig besviken men inte denna gången. Riktigt bra.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Near black, small beige head. Dark chocolate and tart raspberries. Mid sweet with full body and dense, well rounded mouthfeel. Dark chocolate, notes of ash, quite some tart raspberries. Low bitterness. Rich and harmonious.
