Tap @ brewpub. Transparent, light yellow appearance with a pearl white head. Orange citrus hoppy, mild pale malty flavor. Somewhat bitter, dull citrus hoppy, bland pale malty flavor. Seems not that well balanced and too bitter. Not really an IPA- more like a blonde/golden ale in my mind.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Light bourbon and oak aromas. Creamy, smooth texture. Subtle vanilla, bourbon and oak flavors. Great stuff.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark amber with a beige head. Floral aroma. Lush texture (think it’s cask). Flavor is quite ESB - caramel and floral hop.

They must have changed the recipe since the last rating of this beer, because it is currently listed on their menu in the mid-6% range, and the beer is quite dry now, lacing any of the candi sugar sweetness noted in some of the ratings - anyway - starts of tangy and lightly estery - moderate beligan phenols throughout - flinty dryness - crackery malts - the fainest touch of horseblanket - crisp, herbal bitterness in the finish - nice.

Tap at the brewpub - quite an authentic british-style here - semi-dry, biscuity maltiness, burton-ish hard water character, mild diacetyl - a wee bit of sweetness through the middle - relatively strong earthy hop character for the style, reminding you that you are drinking and American-made beer - light body makes for good sessionability.

Tap at the brewery - very clear, fizzy gold - a bit sweet up front for the style, with some honey character and banana that is initially off-putting - however, it dries out nicely through the middle, providing crisp dry malts through the finish, as well as a strong, spicy saaz bite that lingers - starts weak and finishes pretty strong.

Pour is a bright cloudy yellow with a large with head. Aroma is not much but some citrus zest. Flavor is kinda weak and watery with a little citrus at the end. The least liked at coopersmiths.

Pour is a bright orange with a white foamy head. Aroma is nicly hopper with some citrus in there. Flavor is again nicely hopper with a bitter citrus finish. Decent.

Pour is a black with a small thin tan head. Aroma is a nice roasted and smoky malt with seom coffe in the back round. Flavor is more of the same but not as pronounced. Stll this is decent and a bit heavier than a Guiness.
