The can says this is a amber lager but the pour is a pretty clear gold to me. Aroma is more of a toasted white bread. Flavor is more toasted bread but also very buttery. Finish is a slight bitterness. This one was all over the place.

Pour is a bright clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is cracker malt with some generic hop. Flavor is grain malt and I do get a bit of smoke from the applewood as the beer warms but that only kills any hop flavor. Still decent and a very unique kolsch.

12 ounce can from Tavour. Chestnut brown pour. Large, dense khaki colored head. Aromas of toasted malt, brown butter and heaven. Flavor is sweet, toasty and toffeeish. Notes of dark dried fruits, wood, spice and baked apples. Some mild spice in finish. Tasty, for sure.

Can shared with others. Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has cream dark grains with a good amount of chocolate and a hint of roast supporting. Flavor is chocolate forward with growing vanilla and a nice earthy dark grain backbone.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: clear copper/amber color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely and left a lot of messy lace
Aroma: bitter piney to bitter orange peel with a kinda stuffy melon tone then some clean caramel malts
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a medium/low sweet character followed by an even lighter dried bitter citric sort of note; finishes dry and bitter with a touch of the malts
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; some smoothness but in a semi-dry sort of bitter way with obvious bitterness assertiveness in a medium to low sort of way; good carb level
Overall: welllll...hmmm...it's not a dreadfully awful beer, I'll give this that...I think there's something "decent" here. 🤔

16oz can. Really booming carboantion, a little odd for an English style. Acceptable beer, nothing fantastic. Pleasant malt depth. Certainly sessionable. Subtle nuances, certainly grows on me. Good.

16oz can. Light, bright, effervescent. Funky thin Gose type creature. The watermelon is thin and faded, some funky offish notes in the aroma. Unique, but not enough flavor to keep it interesting.

Can to stange.
Appearance as seen in the picture
Aroma: clean herbal notes, floral to earthy tones in the middle; clean bready tones
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a sweet bready contour onto a slight bitter toned hoppy undertone; finishes semi-crisp, clean herbal, bready and a slight dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied, very sessionable; good smoothness with nothing blocking the flow
Overall: I say a very nicely done Italian pilsener I would welcome again.

Can to tall tulip.
Appearance: auburn/copper to almost brown in color with a sly transparency about it and a three finger white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate and once it did some light lace rimmed the top of the glass and some messy lace stuck in strings speckling the sides
Aroma: apple bread, sweet caramel, brown sugar, dark fruits, light notes of sweet earthiness and some light woody spices
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine malty sweet toned quality flanked lightly by an unknown woody spice; finishes semi-sticky malty with apple bready notes
Texture: medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; good smoothness with a good carb to it and no bitterness (as expected)
Overall: a very nicely done Doppelbock worth coming back to. Tis the season for fresh Doppelbocks, right? 👊
