8.5oz bottle. Awesome beer. More like Taras Boulbas fortunately than Apex Predator. Dry, hoppy. Unfiltered, murky body. Pleasant yeastiness. Perfect balance, more of a Belgian mouthfeel than most US examples. Delicious.

16oz can. Kind of an awesome Imperial Winter Warmer. Still drinks relatively clean, no big sticky sugary tones. Spices pull it in all sorts of directions, the oak centers it. All around cool beer.

16oz can c/o Ryan. Really not tasting like any "traditional" malt liquor at this point. Drinks like a Steel Reserve. Every sip is a reminder of its strength. Amber candi sugar saves it in a lot of ways. Vienna works well too. I guess a little Wheatwine-ish at times, if you want to be nice. Different I suppose, but hard to drink. Probably a lot cooler in a mock 40oz in a small bottle.

Bottle pour at the DCBeer December 2025 share. Poured a hazy orange-yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was nice funky, with subtle juniper in it. Quite nice.

On tap at the Marriott Marquis. Cloudy gold with no head. Aroma is lemon, straw, yeast. Initial taste is lemon and Belgian yeast. Fades, to tart lemon, straw. Body is a touch thin.

Draught @ Beermiscuous, Chicago IL. Clear dark yellow/light amber with a foamy off-white head, orange peel aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter orange peel taste, lightly piney, thin smooth body, long bitterish finish. The supposed fruity aromas were not discernible at all.

250ml bottle. Awesome citrus line up, really gives it some depth. One of the better fruit beers I have ever had, albeit a mixed culture Saison underneath. The fruits just boom, in a natural way. Aroma is fantastic. Body is sublime. Flavor is well rounded, deep. Awesome stuff.

16oz can. Quite an odd beer, certainly more of a fruit beer than a NZ. Bright, biting, almost sour up front, but fades into a sort of nothingness. Unique, the kiwi flavor is hard to judge when it isn't candied out. This is fairly dry for a fruit beer, the NZ hops are there I guess just hard to fully appreciate through the kiwi juice. Clean, well made, different.
