Cloudy orange with a medium sized white head that faded quickly. Tangy and tart with strong mango and faint vanilla. Long finish. Medium body.

Can at Haze it forward: pours light orange with a white head. Aroma is vanilla and orange. Taste is sweet and vanilla. Fine.

Have had this twice at the brewery now. It is a perfect example that they can make good beer but they need to change something. The base beer, just like everything else, seems empty, void of malt nuance and structure, lacking the complex relationship between hops, malts, and yeast. Just a sack of unflavored malts. On top of that is a nice brettiness. How the heck? What is happening here?

I like the smoke but don't like anything else about the beer. As I keep saying, everything seems to have the same dull base beer with stuff added for style. And it annoys me.

Draft at brewery. Sweet syrup malt atop an otherwise empty beer. Everything I drink from these guys tastes like the same uninteresting and dull base beer with an addition for style. Here its lots of sweet syrup.

Draft at Stony Run Brewing in York. Pretty hazy pink red color. Low on sourness for a kettle sour. Berries are light. Easy drinking but dull. Some plastic.
