Bottle at the De Molen second Tuesday tasting, April 2013. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is floral and hoppy, leading to a strong bitter flavour, with lots of malt and bitterness on the palate. There is some spice, but its well controlled. Some American IPA’s are a little over the top at times, but this is very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours hazy caramel amber with a small off-white creamy head that dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is resinous, with grapefruit notes in the background. Flavor is the same, pine and grapefruit, with a caramel backing. Light sweet and medium bitter with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Unfortunately this one got lost in the fridge for four weeks; I expect it was better when fresh.
