Bottle 330ml.Light unclear dark amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light caramel. sugar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090625]

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Golden colour, small white fluffy head. Aroma is grains, grass, some earth and mild notes of paper. Flavour is grass, bready malts as well as some earthy and mild yeasty notes.

Bottled (Thanks Bov!). Slightly hazy golden colour, mediumsized white head. Nice rich lace. Aroma is fennel, "minttu", grass and some malts. Flavour is fennel, grass, minttu as well as some malts. Very herbal. Not very pleasant.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Pale golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready malts, some toffee and grass as well as mild wet cardboardy notes. Flavour is quite much the same, a rather uninspiring lager.

Bottled (brewed 09/2008). Neck label says "spezial", but I think this is it. Golden color, small white head. Light diacetyl and cardboard in the nose. Cardboardish malty, papery hops, harsh finish. Quite standard pale lager. A bit past its prime too.

Bottle from Allen, thanks! Malty, roasty aroma with a touch of ash. Malty sweet roasty flavor with licorice and ash. Some chichory bitterness. Interesting beer.
