Bottled (brewed 09/2008). Neck label says "spezial", but I think this is it. Golden color, small white head. Light diacetyl and cardboard in the nose. Cardboardish malty, papery hops, harsh finish. Quite standard pale lager. A bit past its prime too.

33cl bottle, graphic is much simpler than pictured, but alc 5.2% and from appenzeller / locher. clear yellow, small white head. strong grassy / hay aroma, also some citrus, bitterhops. aroma a bit brutal, but i give it a small 6 nevertheless. flavor is honeysweet, hoppybitter, spices, refreshingly bitter, but also flowery sweet. i think they’ve used some special kind of hops, and lots of it, but the result is a bit too english for my taste.
