Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemons, over ripe fruits, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, hay, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap at Hop In Zagreb. Black coloured, small beige head, mild coffee/cappucchino in the nose. Light roasted malt, coffee, light chocolate, mild nutty and hint of smoke with mild bitterness in the finish. A bit too thin but pleasant.

On tap at Hop In. Black with a tiny tan head. Toasty aroma, dark malts, creamy, mild cappuccino, very light raisins. The taste is a bit on the sweet side, again dark malts, slightly smokey even, fresh, vague coffee, rounded with a mild, subdued and well integrated fresh herbal I’m guessing hoppiness. No bitterness really. Don’t come expecting hops and you’ll be in for a treat. This is a very good sweet(ish) porter!

On tap at Hop In. Full yellow body, murky, with a white head. As expected, the aroma greeted me with a mix of tropical fruit, herbs and maltiness. Definitely an impressive hop bomb taste-wise, herbal, candy notes, tropical fruit, some dank touches, very light touch of alcohol too, but not off, vague raspberry touches I guess. Bitter near the end, but not excessively so, soft bitterness in a way. Quite good, didn’t dig it admittedly as much as the lovely Yes Boss, but it’s quite close anyway. Always great to try a beer that’s as daringly hoppy as this one.

On tap at Hop In. Murky amber body with a small white head. Very citric aroma, almost Cedevita like in a way, note bad. The taste, is, however, fantastic! Creamy mix of peachy and coconut notes, rounded up by herbal touches. Just lovely, going in a long bitter finish, herbal. I love this hop combo, whatever it is, and this is definitely a great APA, one of the best I’ve ever had. Great job, Pelicon!

Clear, orange-deep golden colored, small off white head, rather non lasting. Aroma is sweet, malt, caramel, candy and fruity. Taste is way too sweet, malt, sugary candy, some fruity and grassy notes, bready finish, almost no bitterness to balance the sweetness. Medium bodied, flat, bit sticky. Sweet, cloying and unbalanced, at least for me. (on tap, Sir Williams Pub, Ljubljana)

Draft @ Pivo & Burger Fest Oct’16, Ljubljana. Orange, col blanc crémeux. Arôme au nez léger centré sur els houblons, fruité léger avec les agrumes, malt en retrait. Palais présente une effervescence modérée mais où les 8% sont bien notes. Le tout est assez huileux avec un caractère abricot et agrumes et un léger mandarine. Pour moi, l’effervescence est un peu trop faible. Petrite note de sucre résiduel sur la fin, fruits confits avec un fini épicé de la levure.

Draft @ Pivo & Burger Fest Oct’16, Ljubljana, courtesy of the brewer. Dorée-orangée, col blanc crémeux. Arôme offer de très belles effluves de Sorachi, frais et fleuri avec une pointe herbacée, petit rétro citronné, green lime. Malts en retrait avec un retro résineux et pin. Palais met très bien en évidence le Sorachi avec un complément d’Aurora et Styrian. Huileux avec pointe épicée, complément noble citronné. Malts apportent une belle balance tirant vers le pils et pâle, et permettant aux houblons de bien briller.

Palais est malté, léger, bien en avant les houblons, un peu huileux, herbacé ressort super bien avec des effets de pin et pas mal de tropical sur une base de malt pils en retrait.

Draft @ Sir Williams and at Pivo Burger fest. Orange, col fin blanc. Arôme malté, finement houblonné , épicé avec un malté modéré, le tout garde presque un rappel de cidre de pomme, avec une pointe de poudre malté en retrait. Palais est malté, pâle, caramel, faible en effervescence, épicée et herbacée avec un rappel de forêt de pin voire de cumin. Le tout rappel un peu le style estonien de cette bière fermentée spontanément avec un profil frais de bouleau de marécage et sous-bois. Raisin blanc, pêche blanche.
