Bottle, 0.50l, shared with friends. Pours murky pitch black with medium creamy light brown head and nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Taste starts with moderate sweet roasted malt and pleasant coffee following, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Very nice with not offending coffee, although I’m not a coffee drinker...

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks tomer. Black, not completely opaque, with a small tan head. Aroma of olives, yeast, some sourish fruits, and a bit of roast. Sourish flavor, slightly sweetish, with olives and roast. Medium-bodied. Infected.

Pours a deep black color, topped with a relatively small beige colored head. Aroma is pretty straight forward coffee. Taste starts with some sweetness, chocolate notes and roasty, with distinct coffee, which is not too strong (good for non-lovers of coffee) but still dominant in the taste. Some bitterness and coffee notes all the way in the aftertaste. Creamy and filling, and stil leasily drinkable.

A limited edition, made from completely new hop variety without a name, only known by it’s coordinates. Pours a hazy orange to amber color, topped with a fairly small but lasting white head which has a nice lacing. Starts with a fruity aroma, some pleasant citruses (maybe also melon?) and berries. Some caramel notes and hoppy aroma as well. Taste starts with a short fruity feel, immediately followed by a decent hoppy bitterness, decent hoppy presence also in the aftertaste. A great new effort from Pelicon one again.

Pours a nice dark brown color, topped with lots of dark beige colored head. Right from the start, you meet that plesant wintery aroma - little malty, but lots of nice spices - cinnamon and star anise the most dominant. Also slightly fruity in the nose. The taste starts sweet, flat body and some very gentle soury notes, again taste of start anise is quite obvious. Little bitterness in the finish, but hardly noticeable, with some spices in the finish. Amazing, the only problem is that it’s verry filling, so you can’t drink a lot of it.

Bottle, 0.50l, shared with Saska. Murky clay brown color with medium creamy off-white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of melon, peach, citrus with mild herbal note. Taste starts light sweet malty, follows refreshing fruity with pleasant moderate bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Nice hoppy surprise...

Pours a dark amber color, very hazy, topped with about one finger of white head, very low carbonation, that quickly settles down. Quite distinct fruity aroma, citruses, and some spices also picked up. Starts sweet, slightly fruity, followed by a decent hoppy bitterness. Slight hoppy feel in the aftertaste. Nice and gentle, but still offers lots of taste.
