Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a slightly hazy reddish-amber color with a thin foamy eggshell white head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, malt and yeast. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, caramel malt and sweet maple syrup. Sweet potato is barely noticeable. The finish is mildly spicy with an earthy yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear copper color with a medium fluffy off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
