Can, 7.9%. Clear dark golden colour. Stable off-white head. The flavour is OK malty with a little spicy hops. There is a little grainy lageriness in the finish, getting almost sour in the aftertaste.

Bottle, Morissons. Sparkling pinkish colour, medium white head. Aroma is malty, sour fruity. Flavour is champagne-like, with grassy hops, elderberry, some malts and sour fruits. Well carbonated. Slightly dry and sweet finish. Good drinkable.

Can from an Ed store in Paris. Pale gold color with a fine white head. Aroma of grain. Rather thinnish and starts lightly sweet with the merest hint of hop. Not obnoxious. Would probably be ok with a sandwich. Finishes bland.

Can from a cheap shop on Rue Cler. Pours gold with a frothy white head. Really grainy aroma, but it’s a fresh aroma. Medium body with near creamy carbonation. No malt liquor this. It has malt and hop. The heat is a bit much. Otherwise I’m in agreement with Bov. If you like strong Euro lager, and you’re looking for value, give this a try.

Can from a Price/Leader on Rue Cler. Pours gold with a decent white head. Grainy, papery aroma. Thin plus body with loose carbonation. Sweetish papery malt flavor with no significant hop. Water might be better.

Green .25 cL bottle @ 6.3%. Poured amber gold with a temporary white head. Aroma of caramel malt and floral hop. Medium body with frothy carbonation. It reminds me of the "scotch ales" the French produce. Alcohol is noticeable. Not bad for half a euro.
