16 oz can. Really cool label! Thanks RT! Pop yields a mild sweet candy nose. Pleasantly darker orange yuengy lookin thang. Taste is much more personality than expected, mind you, this is not a gentle lager. 473 ml of tap you in the face beer. Good co2 keeps it lively. Been wanting to taste this for a while. Bigger and better than a pale lager but not quite as civilized. Could drink another, no prob. I’m almost thinking its a vienna. Yes, I do wish I had another can, blast.

On tap at haunted Harmony Inn. Big & black fer sure. Creamy off white head. Wow, smells like a malted chocolate milk shake. No lie. Taste is also mild malty shake, but with a little less sugar. Interesting flat chocolate unsweetened milk chocolate malt. Same flat initial impressions, but still chocolate.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured red-brown color with a medium sized foamy off-white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet and malty with honey, caramel, dark fruits and a pleasant boozy presence. The flavor was sweet, malty and toasty with honey, dark fruits, sugar and a boozy presence. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Excellent.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized soapy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was sweetish with citrus, a bit of pine and a faint earthy note. The flavor was woody and smoky followed by citric hops. Medium length finish with lingering smoke. Medium body. Odd.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark brown color with a faint red hue and a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was malty and sweet with toasted caramel. The flavor was boozy and rough with notes of tobacco, harsh pine, fruity hops and burnt caramel. Very long finish< moderately full bodied. Disappointing.

I’m not a fan of IPA so flip my numbers if you do,this is terribly on style. Clear pale. Mild friendly IPA aroma, lacks any of that BO so prevalent in the latter day style. Taste is bitter but does not really rise to the effects of difficult IPA, more like a strong personality APA.
